Understanding others

'Understanding is better than knowledge because there are many people who know you but very few who understand you.'  No matter whatever you do, just a small misunderstanding could ruin everything. The thing is very few people will be able to understand you but still at some point they may not understand. They may understand you when it happens to them. 'Never judge anyone's choices without understanding their reasons.' Always try to clear the misunderstanding because it is very important to have good communication with others. You should understand yourself firstly and then understand others. It is very important to understand others so that you can know how they feel and what are their perceptions about various things . You should be a good listener and should have good communication with others to have good understanding. Many times people do take you in a wrong sense, it is maybe because they cannot understand you. The best way to understand the problem or act of others is by putting yourself at that place and then thinking what you would have done if you were at his/her place. Most problems in a relationship or friendship can be solved if you can just understand each other. It is not that difficult, try and one day you will be able to understand others. And always take actions after thinking and understanding their situation. You may think you are right at that time but you might regret your decision later. Always be careful what you say to others because you may forget what you said but your words could have a great impact on others. Value other people because you might lose them just because of a simple misunderstanding. 'A good relationship is about two things- First appreciating the similarities and second respecting the differences.'
