Indian Education System

Steve Wozniak said that success in India is based on getting a job, then where is the creativity ? Well many people didn't like his words but ask yourself, isn't that true, Our India Education System needs to be changed. There are so many new things happening but we still are learning about the old things which is of no use in future. Our curriculum needs to be updated. It had been so many years of our freedom but still, our education system is still the same. Why is that so. Nowadays, students or children are judged only on the basis of their marks. What is that, our school focuses only on our academics, why not other aspects. People who are creative or think differently are punished for writing other things in exam. They do not have any practical knowledge then how this kind of education can help someone in getting a job when they lack basic skills. We are only told about academics, why are we not given information about different fields like sports, entrepreneurship, film industry or something like that. Why is that we have to do the same stuff even though we know nowadays skills matters more than marks or degrees. People in foreign countries promote their children to try out different things and then they choose what they actually want to do in their life but we people in India are only told to be an engineer, a doctor , a lawyer or CA. Are these are the only options, no but still everyone either willingly or forcefully has to do something like this otherwise they don't exist in the society. Indians haven't won any noble prize since Independence. Why are we not promoting overall growth, mental peace, happiness and creativity. There are not much resources available for doing research work, so why not create our own resources. Everybody just focuses on getting good grades in class. Our education system is only about getting good grades. And because of it, everyone is getting lost, be it an artist, writer, actor, dancer , singer or someone else. We are losing our individuality by running in the same race which will never finish because first we will run to get good grades, then to get good college, then again to get good marks, then to get a good job and then run to get promotion. When will this stop. Why can't we collaborate instead of doing competition. Why can't we think about others and not only about ourselves. We can change this only if we really want to do it. People can organize some small workshops where they can tell children about various other field and moral values. We can tell children to not to run in a race but focus on improving yourself everyday. Nowadays we all have 4G connectivity, many children also have it but most of them, they just use it for their entertainment purpose. Why are they not willing to learn? It is just because of our education system which only promotes bookish learning and if someone thinks of learning any other skills, then they are scolded for not focusing on their academics. Society will only change if we, youth of India will do something. We can teach children about many things and how they can use their mobile phones as a platform to learn new things. There are so many medium, so many digital platforms to learn anything but it is only for those who really want to learn new things and want to improve themselves. There are a lot of people who don't even know about any of these mediums because they never even bothered to learn any new things. There are many digital platforms like youtube, google, there are many udemy courses as well by which you can learn many things. It is just that there are so many resources for you but only if you are willing to learn it. Work on your passion, teach yourself everything regarding your passion so that you can work on your dream too. India doesn't lack talent but it is just that we are unable to find it in this race. We wouldn't have got Sachin Tendulkar or Arijit Singh if they would have done what they were told to do instead of doing what they really loved to do.  But if your parents force you to do something else then also you can achieve your dream. Just start working towards your dream and passion along with doing what your parents want. It is difficult but it is worth it. This is the only way to make your mark. If everyone can work towards their passion then there will be no problem of unemployment because when you love what you do, you will surely be the best in it and then India can be a developed country very soon. Promote Entrepreneurship, it is not a rule that everyone will be doing a 9 to 5 job. Some people are meant to be their own boss. There are many things that children should be taught in school but if not there then we can help them in shaping India in a better way. We can talk to children and can tell them about many other good things. Don't just think about changing it, just do it. Everyone can help you with it. It is just that we need someone to start it, well i am ready to start and if someone will be willing to help me then they are surely welcome. Hope you all got my point and let just promote proper learning with no competition instead with collaboration. Let us show this to everyone that Indians are not like a machines and they do not lack creativity. If they want, then they can do wonders in their life by being in India only. Then everyone will be proud of Indians.
